Why I decided to donate a sum on the Founding Benefactor Level.
The Enneagram was one of the first arrows of self-discovery that pointed out focus
issues of my type. Once I learned about all the types, I came to a full realization
that each of us is unique and also similar. People perceived the world through a
completely different lens than I was looking through; they live out their lives
through this personal view of the world. That information opened me to compassion
and a realization of the difficulties that each of the types has because of their
perception and the attendant passion/energy.

I facilitate other groups through The Institute for Inner Growth, run by my husband
and me. The Enneagram is present as a living tool within our teachings. It helps
others to be more present in relationships and work, and I find that to be most
valuable. I am proud to be involved with the Enneagram as a teacher and as a student.
I feel that, because of my personal experience of the integrity and value of the
Enneagram, I needed to support the AEA in a like manner.
I would encourage those who personally know the value of the Enneagram in their
own lives to make a contribution that represents that awareness.
