Presented by Jerome Wagner Ph.D.
There is Wisdom in the Shadows
Integrating our Inner Polarities
May 5th and 6th, 2012
Introductory Tour of the Types Friday evening May 4th
There are 12 CE hours available
Come explore the wisdom of your Shadow: Do you think of yourself as right and exact?
Then you probably don’t want to be seen as wrong or messy. How about strong and
tough? Bet you don’t want to appear weak and wimpy—to yourself or anyone else. These
are examples of disowned parts of our being known as the Shadow Self. We all have
one. When we re-identify with our “bad”, unseemly parts and re-own them, we find
some valuable assets. Like inner integration and wholesome connections with other
people, both of which lead to an increase of energy since we are no longer divided
against ourselves and others.
Through illustrations, exercises, dialogue and panels, this workshop will explore
each Enneagram style’s ego identifications (me) and their shadows (not-me), the
defenses used against the unacceptable parts, and ways of reacquainting us with
and reintegrating our disowned characteristics. In short we will learn how to re-label,
re-own, and re-use all the dimensions of ourselves. This is a very powerful, practical
workshop in which you will experience new pathways to a fuller, freer life!
